The Doomguard summoned by the Warlock's Ritual of Doom has been adjusted in the latest hotfixes now active on live servers. Key changes to the Ritual of Doom Doomguard include:
-
Doom Bolt damage decreased by 89%.
-
Overall Doom damage reduced by 90%.
The Doomguard has been delivering an astonishing amount of damage, particularly through the Ritual of Doom, but this hotfix aims to mitigate that excessive output, suggesting that the Ritual was not intended to yield such high damage levels. You may have noticed that many of the top logs for Affliction were relying on the Doomguard to achieve impressive results, but that dynamic has unfortunately changed.
