Update: Silken Court Hotfixes Implemented in Nerub-ar Palace

Following the defeat of Nexus Princess Ky'veza, a series of tuning hotfixes have been rolled out for the Silken Court in Nerub-ar Palace. These adjustments aim to smooth out gameplay and address certain bugs.

Stinging Swarm Adjustments

The first set of changes targets the Stinging Swarm ability. Previously, there was an issue in Mythic difficulty where stacking all debuffs on Takazj wouldn't disorient him as expected. While the datamined information doesn't explicitly confirm a fix, the adjustments seem to address this problem indirectly.

  • Reduced Player Damage: Stinging Swarm now inflicts 50% less damage to players while increasing its tick rate to every 0.5 seconds (previously 1 second).

  • Mythic Scaling: On Mythic, the damage reduction is 44%, with the same increased tick frequency.

  • Instant Application: The ability now ticks on the boss instantly upon being applied.

These updates apply across all difficulty levels, ensuring a consistent experience.

Piercing Strike Modification

The Piercing Strike ability has also been adjusted. Now, this attack persists through death, preventing players from exploiting the previous strategy of sacrificing their Tank to bring in additional DPS. This change ensures that the Tankbuster mechanic remains a significant challenge throughout the encounter.

With these hotfixes in place, players can expect a more balanced and challenging experience in the Silken Court, encouraging strategic gameplay and team coordination.
