Hello, WoW enthusiasts! It's been an eventful week in the World of Warcraft universe, and I'm here to break down all the exciting updates for you. From class buffs and nerfs to changes in crafting orders and new raid gearing options, there's plenty to discuss.
Class Buffs and Nerfs
This week brings a fresh round of class changes. Here's a quick overview of some notable adjustments:
-
Druids: The ability "Convoke the Spirits" will now interact with Arcane spells to trigger "Lunation" and with spending spells to trigger "Star-Lord," enhancing buffs for Balance Druids. Guardians will see changes to "Luna Beam" and its interaction with "Lunation."
-
Hunters: Significant changes are coming with buffs to the Dark Ranger hero talent, including increased damage for abilities like "Bleak Powder" and "Shadow Surge." Beast Mastery sees a mix of nerfs and buffs, with "Kill Command" damage up by 20% but "Basilisk Collar" damage bonus reduced.
-
Mages: Ice Flows now allows casting of teleport and portal spells on the move. "Gravity Lapse" has been updated for better dungeon play with a new AOE stun effect.
-
Protection Paladins: Enjoy a 10% increase in base armor and reduced cooldowns for abilities like "Hammer of the Righteous."
-
Rogues: The ability "Feint" no longer triggers the global cooldown, allowing for seamless use with other abilities.
-
Shamans: Elemental and Enhancement Shamans receive damage boosts and bug fixes, with updated models and new glyph options for Ascendants.
-
Warriors: Experience nerfs to AOE abilities like "Thunderous Roar" and "Odin's Fury," impacting their damage beyond five targets.
These changes are part of the 11.0.3 PTR and will be included in the larger class overhaul coming with patch 11.0.5.
New Raid: Blackrock Depths
We're also seeing the return of Blackrock Depths as a reimagined time-walking raid. Scheduled for raid testing in both normal and heroic modes, this new event will feature eight bosses, offering a nostalgic yet challenging experience. The loot tables promise competitive rewards, comparable to current season raids, with item levels scaling as the raid progresses.
Crafting Orders Made Easier
Crafting orders are receiving a quality-of-life update, making it cheaper and easier to complete them. Customers now have a higher chance of providing basic reagents, and quality requirements have been lowered, reducing the need for costly materials.
October's Trading Post Preview
With Halloween approaching, October's Trading Post brings a spooky lineup of rewards. Look forward to acquiring mounts like the Shadowlands hand mount and the Sustained Shale Wing, along with a Harvest Golem Ensemble for a unique transmog set.

Raid and Mythic+ Adjustments
Recent nerfs have targeted various endgame content, making Mythic+ dungeons and raid encounters more accessible. Trash mobs and bosses in Mythic+ have seen health reductions and fewer annoying abilities, making runs smoother. Raid bosses have also been adjusted to accommodate smaller group sizes, balancing the challenge across different group configurations.
These updates reflect Blizzard's ongoing efforts to balance gameplay and enhance the World of Warcraft experience for all players. Whether you're a raider, a dungeon crawler, or a crafting aficionado, there's something new to explore and enjoy.Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, happy adventuring in Azeroth!
