The War Within Hotfixes for September 10

Blizzard has rolled out a series of hotfixes for The War Within on September 10, 2024. These updates include significant changes such as the introduction of a new Earthen racial ability and adjustments to the Wax Farm for Valorstones.

Key Changes

  • New Earthen Racial Ability:

    • Quiet Contemplation: This new racial allows Earthen characters to recover health and mana while out of combat, enhancing their sustainability

  • Wax Farm Nerf:

    • Turning in wax to Middles in Gundargaz now awards 2 Valorstones (down from 10). After the first 25 turn-ins per week, subsequent wax turn-ins will grant Resonance Crystals instead.

Additional Fixes and Adjustments

  • Achievements:

    • Fixed an issue with the Machine-Warden title, ensuring it is granted correctly through the achievement "It's Not Much, But It's Honest Work."

    • General's Scouting Shadecaster has been removed from the achievement "Itsy Bitsy Spider."

  • Class Changes:

    • Various fixes across classes, including adjustments to Death Knight, Monk, Shaman, and Warlock abilities to improve functionality and balance.

  • Delves and Dungeons:

    • Combat resurrections are now a shared resource, and the maximum stack count for the Rage-Filled Idol has been reduced

    • Item level 350 is now required to queue for Random The War Within dungeons.

  • Player versus Player Adjustments:

    • Changes to the costs and drop rates of items from victory boxes to enhance the PvP experience.
