In The War Within, players can unlock special cosmetics known as the Dornogal Civilian outfits, which are tied to specific achievements. While many of these outfits can be purchased from vendors, certain recolors require completing lengthy tasks to earn the associated achievements.
These outfits are commonly seen on NPCs throughout Khaz Algar, and a significant number can be bought from Osidion using Resonance Crystals or Earth-Encrusted Gems, which are obtained through Renown. While the outfits themselves are quite simple, they can be great for enhancing your transmog collection, especially the belts, which feature neutral colors and attractive pouches and embellishments. However, if you're looking for specific color variations, you won't find them all at vendors!

Achieving the Loremaster of Khaz Algar
The Loremaster of Khaz Algar achievement is known for being time-consuming. Players will likely complete four of the necessary achievements simply by leveling their first character from 70 to 80 through the Khaz Algar campaign quests. After that, you'll need to tackle the four Sojourner achievements, which require completing all side stories in each new zone.
While this can be a tedious process, there are ways to efficiently complete these tasks while pursuing other objectives. Since these achievements are account-wide, you can use multiple characters to your advantage. Choose a zone and finish both the campaign and side stories simultaneously. However, some storylines may require you to be level 80 to access the quests, so if you feel you've exhausted a zone's offerings, consider returning once you reach that level.
If you're starting fresh, it's best to progress through the campaign while also engaging in side stories. As you advance, new quests will unlock, and you won't miss any opportunities by continuing the campaign.
Completing the Loremaster of Khaz Algar will reward you with the Crimson Cartographer's Orientation, a unique red and brown variant of the Cartographer's Orientation set.
The Lost and Found Quest
Next, you’ll embark on a treasure hunt known as Lost and Found, which is also part of the Sojourner of Hallowfall achievement. If you're working on the Loremaster of Khaz Algar, you'll make progress on this quest simultaneously. The Lost and Found storyline requires you to be level 80 and cannot be completed while leveling.
Begin by picking up the quests Runway Scare-a-way and Torching Lights from Maera Ashyld in Hallowfall. These tasks are straightforward; simply fly through moths and use the provided Lamplighter Firearm to burn the eggs found in the local flora. Once you finish these, you can start the Lost and Found quest.
The first part, Time Lost, requires you to collect six Mementos from the Stagnant Mire. These can be obtained from various enemies like the Mirehat Fungalmancer and Cultivated Mireshroom, or by digging through Sludge Piles in the area. The drop rate may not be the best, but the enemies are relatively weak, making them easy to defeat.
After collecting the six Mementos, turn them in to complete the quest. If you're only after the Loremaster of Khaz Algar, you can stop here. Completing this quest will reward you with a Plush Lynx, Tarnished Compass, and Broken Bracelet. Your next task is to return these items to their rightful owners.
If you lose any required items, you can visit Maera Ashyld. There’s a pouch between her and Magpie that you can interact with to retrieve lost items, which cannot be restored through item restoration. If you can't interact with the pouch, try logging out and back in.
You can return the Broken Bracelet to Keyrra Flamestonge in Dunelle's Kindness, the Plush Lynx to Phillip Taversil in Mereldar, and place the Tarnished Compass at the Grave Offering Location in Mereldar. The next phase requires repeating this process two more times with the quests Time Found and Time Borrowed. Each quest becomes available one at a time after the previous one is completed, and they each reward different lost mementos.
After completing all tasks, you will earn the Lost and Found achievement and the Sandy Quotidian Wear, which is a unique brown and green variant of the Quotidian Wear set.
Achieving Khaz Algar Diplomat
The Khaz Algar Diplomat achievement is straightforward but can be quite time-consuming. It requires you to reach maximum Renown with several listed reputations. Although the in-game achievement may have some bugs and doesn't specify the requirements, it generally involves reaching rank 25 with the Council of Dornogal, The Assembly of the Deeps, Hallowfall Arathi, and The Severed Threads.
Achieving this will take considerable patience and time. To increase your Renown levels, ensure you complete all available quests for each faction, find applicable treasures, defeat all weekly rare enemies, and finish their world quests whenever possible. Many players may find this is a long-term goal that they complete gradually throughout the expansion, so there’s no need to rush.
Completing the Khaz Algar Diplomat achievement will reward you with the Vermillion Patron's Elegance, an exclusive red variant of the Patron's Elegance set.
Completing the Algari Dungeoneer Achievement
Similar to the other achievements mentioned, Algari Dungeoneer will require time and effort. This achievement involves completing the Algari Dungeon Tank, Algari Dungeon Healer, and Algari Dungeon Damage Dealer tasks. Essentially, you need to finish all eight Mythic dungeons in each role, totaling 24 dungeon runs. If your class cannot perform all three roles, you’ll need to use an alternate character to complete this achievement.
Completing the Algari Dungeoneer will reward you with the Versatile Peddler's Trinkets, an exclusive blue and red variant of the Peddler's Trinkets set.
