In the interview that SoulSoBreezy had with WoW developer Eric Holmberg-Weidler on November 17th, Eric said that one of the ways to convert gear into tier gear is Storm Gear.
There are two type of Primal Storm Gear:
359 ilvl Storm Gear
The 359 ilvl version of Storm gear can be bought with the currency Elemental Overflow which can be looted from mobs in a Primal Storm event.
You buy the gear at Mythressa in Valdrakken (see below for location).
The gear slots that you can buy are
- wrist
- waist
- back
- Shoulder
- Feet
- Hands
- Head
- Chest
- Legs
- Weapons
You can also buy a mount (Stormhide Salamanther) a pet (Stormie) and another pet (Ghostflame).
385 ilvl Storm Gear
The 385 ilvl version of Storm gear can be bought with the currency Storm Sigil and the 359 ilvl gear of the gear you want to buy. For example, if you want to buy a chest, then you need 10 Storm Sigils and the 359 ilvl chest.
You buy the gear at Rethelshi in Valdrakken (see below for location).
Storm Sigils are abtained from the Primal Storm events. There is a chance that mobs can drop 1. You only get 1 Storm Sigil per week from each type of Elemental Storm Event it is. There are 4 types of Elemental Storm Events in Dragon Isles: Earth, Storm, Water and Fire. Meaning, you can only get 4 Storm Sigils a week.
The gear slots that you can buy are
- wrist
- waist
- back
- Shoulder
- Feet
- Hands
- Head
- Chest
- Legs
- Weapons
Location of Primal Storm vendors
Both Rethelshi and Mythressa are located in The Sapphire Enclave in Valdrakken (see map).
