Craft Awakened Gear First week in Season 4

You will be able craft Awakened gear on the first week of season 4. We can get two Splintered Sparks of Awekened. 

One drops from the raid bosses that are awakened. Some players got it on the first boss kill loot, I got it on the 3rd boss loot. You can see which raid is awakened by opening the Adventure guide under Dragonflight where this is a symbol that marks it "Awakened". You can also see which LFR wings that are awakened by looking at the same symbol.

The other Splintered Spark comes from the new weekly quest called Last Hurrah which has replaced the previous "Aiding the Accord" quest. To begin the Last Hurrah quest, head to Valdrakken and locate Therazaland next to the fountain. He will be your quest giver for this weekly adventure.


Completing the Last Hurrah quest will reward you handsomely. Here's what you can expect:

  1. Cache of Awakened Dreams: Upon completing the quest, you will receive a Cache of Awakened Dreams. This cache contains Champion Gear, which is normal raid gear with item levels ranging from 493 to 515.

  2. Splintered Spark: In addition to the cache, you will also receive a Splintered Spark. This item serves a purpose in which you need to combine 2 of them, although at this time, there is no unified quest to turn it in. However, if no such quest is available, you will have the chance to craft it in the second week.

  3. Drake's Awakened Crests: Completing the Last Hurrah quest will also reward you with 30 Drake's Awakened Crests. These crests hold significant value and can be used for vupgrading gear.

  4. Gold and Dragon Isles Supplies: As a token of gratitude, you will be awarded 1532 gold and Dragon Isles Supplies. These resources will come in handy during your further adventures in Season 4.
