September 9th Hotfixes for The War Within: Lost Diary Quest Resolved

Today, updates for The War Within have been released, addressing various bugs and specifically fixing the Lost Diary quest.

Class Adjustments

Evoker

  • Players who used a level 60 Boost now have access to all essential Evoker and Dracthyr skills.

Monk

  • Mistweaver: The effect of Gusts of Mists on oneself is now correctly enhanced by Mantra of Purity.

Paladin

  • Resolved an issue where Hammer of Light would not disappear as intended.

Shaman

  • Stormbringer: Players can now stack the buff that turns Lightning Bolt into Tempest up to two times.

  • Elemental: Stormkeeper can now stack up to three times, though it still generates only two stacks, and Rolling Thunder talent generates one.

Warlock

  • Resolved various bugs:

    • Blackened Soul: Removed unintended 5-second internal cooldown.

    • Hellcaller: Fixed stealth-breaking issue when spending Soul Shards with Blackened Soul talent.

    • Affliction: Vile Taint now correctly grants a Wither stack when Blackened Soul is talented.

    • Demonology: Prevented Succulent Soul from being consumed by Spiteful Reconstitution.

    • Destruction: Ensured Wither duration increases after refresh.

Delves and Dungeons

  • Fixed an issue where players sometimes received duplicate Curios.

  • In the Mycomancer Cavern, players no longer need to talk to their companion after encountering the strange mushroom.

Event Adjustments

  • In the Theatre Troupe event during “The Cruelty of Dornic” stage, a maximum of 10 players can now summon orbs.

Items and Rewards

  • Players reaching renown 8 with the Council of Dornogal can now obtain their Earth-Encrusted Gem from Auditor Balwurz.

  • Corrected a bug with cosmetic items from past expansions incorrectly dropping for certain classes or multiple items dropping when only one was intended.

Player versus Player

  • Fixed an issue where Vicious Flasks were removed upon entering Arena Skirmishes.

  • Guardian and temporary summon pet nameplates are now hidden during PvP.

Quest Fixes

  • Improved the respawn rates for creatures in the world quest "Claimed Salvage."

  • The Lost Diary in Hallowfall now correctly initiates the intended quest.

These updates aim to enhance gameplay and address several issues to ensure a smoother experience for all players.
