Guide: How to Complete the Achievement - “Card Collection”

Overview

The "Card Collection" achievement is part of the World of Warcraft Hearthstone event. To complete this achievement, you need to collect Hearthstone cards that are dropped by certain enemies. These enemies, or minions, will appear in the capital cities during the event.

Steps to Complete the Achievement

Participate in the Hearthstone Event

The event will feature special encounters where you can defeat iconic minions to add to your deck and earn other fun new Hearthstone-themed rewards.

The Minions

There are 10 different minions that will pop up in the capital cities. These include:

  • Abomination
  • Baron Geddon
  • Charged Devilsaur
  • Alleycat
  • Arcane Golem
  • Scarlet Crusader
  • Chillwind Yeti
  • Cairne Bloodhoof
  • Hogger
  • Ancient of Lore

When do minions spawn 

These minions will most likely spawn in a certain pattern over specific cities and also specific time points. When the Diablo event was up in World of Warcraft, a treasure goblin spawned every 30 minutes in a specific rotation between Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Valdrakken. It's possible that a similar pattern will occur with the Hearthstone event. This section will be updated once I test it when it goes live. 

Collect the Cards

These minions will drop Hearthstone cards that you can collect to complete the achievement “Card Collection”. The cards include:
