When activated, the Treacherous Transmitter assigns one of three possible tasks, each requiring completion within 15 seconds. Successfully finishing a task grants you theEthereal Powerlink, which enhances your primary stat for 15 seconds. However, failing to complete the task in time means missing out on the stat boost, making this trinket quite punishing for mistakes.On the flip side, the trinket has a 20-second shared cooldown that starts when you activate it. This opens the possibility for a double effect if you time the completion of your task to coincide with the cooldown, allowing for a maximum 10-second overlap of buffs.Overall, this trinket is exceptionally beneficial for many specializations, particularly those with 90-second burst cooldown windows.

The Tasks

1. Realigning Nexus Convergence Divergence: Jump three times to activate the task. Three purple crystals will appear above you, lighting up blue as you jump. Pay attention, as the crystals may lag behind if you move too quickly.

2. Errant Manaforge Emission: Collect a purple orb that moves in a crescent moon shape near your location. This task is the trickiest, as the orb can be obscured during encounters. Ensure you’re positioned well to grab it, as touching the orb will trigger the Ethereal Powerlink.

3. Cryptic Instructions: A circular pad will spawn about 6 yards ahead and to the right. Stand on this pad for approximately 2 seconds to complete the task, gaining a stacking buff that grants a 10% AoE damage reduction and triggers the Ethereal Powerlink after reaching four stacks.
